Probably not: Since the baby is being fed formula 7 times daily, which is ~60-70% water, he should be OK with need for extra water, unless fever persists and is high. The dose of anti-fever medicine like acetaminophen depends upn age and weight, with an average of 10mg/kg/dose given every 4-6 hrs.
