No: The PSA is questionable as well. Screening for prostate cancer is a heavy debate. A full scientific discussion of the issues can be viewed on the web USPSTF web site ( US preventive services task force). The evidence for early intervention of prostate cancer is debateble and just treating prostate cancer when symptoms develop might be best. There is no resolution on this issue
