No: Not unless you are instructed to (for weight gain reasons) by your pediatrician or your baby does not seem fully satisfied by your milk production. A baby to feeds well, then goes to sleep for 2 to 3 hours, makes plenty of soiled diapers, and is gaining weight well is likely getting exactly what he or she needs from breastmilk alone.

No: If you are breastfeeding well there is no reason to supplement with formula. Good luck!
