Pain and depression: Individuals with neurotic depression report more pain than do those with endogenous or biologically based depression. Anxiety, muscle tension, all body paralysis and hypochondriasis are common symptoms in depressed individuals. In the majority of patients, pain and depression develop at the same time. Take care.
