Modify your diet: Sounds like your TG's respond to diet. Alcohol and carbohydrates will raise TG's significantly. I would work on reducing your alcohol intake and/or reducing your simple carbohydrates. Sugars and starches such as rice, bread and pasta will raise them. You report a high number, but I really get concerned over 500. You may wa to wet with a dietician at some point.
