Variable: thorough resection of endometriosis substantially improves pregnancy rates. That said, if pregnancy is the only thing we are worrying about (not pain from endometriosis), in vitro fertilization may be a better route to pregnancy that directly treating endo (and this is coming from a surgeon that makes a living removing endometriosis)
