I am thinking you mean MCL strain and valgus overload. The MCL ligament is on the inside of the knee. It can constantly be strained when there is valgus overload which is basically knocked knees. This knocked knee strain often increases as someone gets arthritis in their knee. If it is a problem that affects your daily activity, then long term likely a knee replacement would be the treatment.
