Irritation of: a superficial cutaneous nerve more than likely. if you have redness, swelling, warmth you may have infection. Little bits of gravel sometimes get in there and are hard to get rid of (the white blood cells cannot digest them) If you suspect that there is a smouldering infection or bits of road gravel still in there have it looked at. If the the tingling does not resolve have it looked at
