It depends: As in it depends on the type of damage. For stroke related damage, there are medications(cholesterol, blood pressure, blood thinning) meds that can help prevent future strokes. The supplement data isn't great but there some for vit E. For TBI/concussion related damage, the data for supplements is even worse but there are some reports for benefits from Omega-3's, DHA and vit D.
