Not usually: A hydrocele does not usually affect sexual drive. In general, hydroceles should not affect erectile function. Hydroceles are fluid collections surrounding testicle due either to overproduction or poor absorption of fluid. The hydrocele does not affect function of the testicle and does not change hormonal function. However, very large hydroceles can undoubtedly make sexual intercourse uncomfortable.
