Not for long: Immediately after hydrocele surgery, you will have some expected discomfort in the groin and/or scrotum associated with the surgery itself. That will disappear after a couple of weeks. The surgery itself has no long-term impact on sex life. It does not affect potency, sex drive, or other factors associated with sex life.
