Lighteheaded/vertigo: tension in the neck and shoulders are not usually associated with dizziness. Vertigo is a sensation of spinning, like when you jumped of a whirly-gig in the playgorund as a child. Lightheadedness is like when you feel like feinting after giving blood. When you see your doctor you need to give him a history which helps distinguish between these so it will inform how to proceed
