Not necessarily.: Depends on what you ate, what you had been doing prior to eating and timing of the test in relation to both of those. For these reasons and more we do not typically measure blood sugars after eating. If you have diabetes it may be a good idea to measure after a meal but only with guidance from your doc. If you are not diabetic or under the care of a doc I suggest NOT measuring your BG.
