Binge drinking: upsets the natural lining of cells of your stomach and intestinal tract. These take some time to recuperate. It is generally VERY unhealthy to have more than just a couple of drinks in one sitting especially if you are a young adult woman. Alcohol in any dose is toxic to your body, but small amounts is metabolized and usually ok. Alcohol intake moderation rules the day.

EtoH side effect: Alcohol can irritate/inflame the stomach causing an upset stomach(gastritis), vomiting, and dry heaving. Alcohol can cause inflammation of the esophagus causing heartburn. The small and large intestines reabsorb salt and water, alcohol interferes with this absorption=diarrhea.
