A few options...: You can be seen by students at a dental school, or at a hospital residency program. You may be eligible for care under Medicaid.. you will have to call social services to inquire. FYI, many patients do not have insurance, are on fixed incomes, and they still take care of their teeth.

Options: You can pay out of pocket. Some dentists will give you a sliding scale payment. You could pay for dental insurance privately. If you qualify for Medicaid, you can receive dental insurance through that as well. Also, you can sign up for the Affordable Care Act dental insurance once sign up starts again in 2015.

Dental School/Clinic: Most states have significantly reduced or eliminated the dental portion of Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act does not have a dental component. My suggestions would be to seek emergency dental care at a dental school, a General Practice Residency (teaching program), a dental clinic or many states have two day no- cost dental Missions for the truly needy. Good Luck!
