May need EMG: Nerves control sensation and strength, and the nerve distribution to different parts of the hand/fingers originate from the neck but can be compressed at different points i.e wrist, elbow, shoulder. An EMG/NCV can determine if you have carpal tunnel syndrome or radiculopathy from the neck.
