A good pelvic exam: While Cystoscopy and MRI are the next tests to diagnose chronic pelvic pain, make sure you rule out pregnancy and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and STD for the same. A thorough physical/pelvic examination, by an experienced physician has the potential to provide needed clues in determine cause of your pelvic pain in most cases. Good luck!
