GER reduction: Certain foods, activities, medications and conditions that increase pressure in your abdomen can trigger reflux. An over the counter acid reflux medication may help your symptoms, but see your doctor for evaluation if you are not relieved or if your symptoms change or worsen. Untreated acid reflux can cause esophageal strictures, respiratory problems, ulcers and throat problems.

Acid reflux: Acid reflux can be pretty bad. Many people can relate what they eat to the symptoms and of course if you can then dont eat it. OTC treatments like zantac (ranitidine) help but you should also see a GI doctor as well. Sometimes a bacteria int eh stomach H. pylori can cause it
