SoreThroat blisters: Please see your primary care physician, an Ear Nose Throat specialist, urgent care or ER physician for examination and treatment. Severe sounds unbearable. You may need antibiotics or other treatment. You could also get a prescription for pain medication if needed. I imagine it has been difficult to sleep, eat, and drink. Some causes include Herpes, adenitis, diptheria, EBV, sinusitis, Strep

Throat: May be cold sore, aphthous ulcers or CMV. Although you can gargle with salt water and take pain meds, suggest you see a doctor to have it cultured.

Pharyngitis: One can develop blisters inside of the mouth on the soft palate or on the back of the throat from viral illnesses such as mononucleosis, or coxsackie pharyngitis, or from bacterial infections. You can gargle with salt water or mouthwash or take ibuprofen to decrease the pain. I would seek medical attention to determine the cause and rule out streptococcal infection.

Possible pharyngitis: Exudative or non-exudative pharyngitis can be due to various etiology, including bacterial (most commonly streptococcal or HACEKS microorganisms), and viral (commonly infectious mononucleosis). Untreated bacterial pharyngitis can lead to retropharyngeal abscess, endocarditis, compromising airway, thromboembolism (e.g. embolic strokes). Urgent physician visit is recommended.
