I had a sore throat on the right side every time i swallowed for a couple of days, but that went away and i was good for a day. the following morning i woke up with no voice, it was hard to speak. no sore throat or other symptoms. cause for concern?

A "sore throat" caused by a bacterial or viral infection can extend to your vocal cords, making them swell, which will stop/alter the voice modulation for normal speech. See your physician for an exam and guidance if this continues.
