A member asked:

I have a blister on the heel of my foot that my dermatologist thinks could be herpes. is this possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, possible.: It can happen if someone with active lesion or history of herpes infection touches to your heal area it can make a lesion appear in that area. It got to be skin to skin contact. It is unusual but it may happen . Usually it occurs when loose or improperly fitting shoes rub against the skin surfaces of the foot. Any rubbing on selected spots of the foot can eventually lead to blister formation.
