Went to podiatrist yesterday for pain on rt. heel. now got pain on l. heel by accident after stepping on something on floor by accident. plastic object - didn't see as room was dark. now very sore?

Did it break the : Skin? Was there bleeding? Or did you step on it and get right off it. If the latter then ice would be a good start. I imagine you are going to follow up with the foot doc anyway with the other foot, so when you do you can see him for this one as well. But ice it until then.
