Layering Retrieve: Ideally you want to apply a thin layer to cleansed skin nightly, and use an antioxidant sunscreen daily. Adding extra layers does not accelerate or improve your results. Redness, tingling and flaking are common occurrences with tretinoin use, but these side effects are not necessary to see improvement. If you wish faster improvement, you may want to consider adding a series of peels.
