Good doctor!: The treatment of high blood pressure should not always be pharmacological. And your blood pressure might be somewhat elevated in doctor's office but normal the rest of the day. Get a device and check it daily for a few weeks. If regularly >150/100, may need treatment. Weight loss, exercise, yoga, and Mediterranean diet, are much better ways of dealing with moderate hypertension than medications.
