Check on chest pain: Ongoing chest pain is nothing to ignore! The potential origin of your symptoms includes: heart, lungs, mediastinum, esophagus, musculoskeletal, pericardium (sac around the heart), pleuritis, bronchiitis, or referred pain from a remote site. Your doctor will be concerned about accompanying fever, blood with coughing, vomiting, shortness or breath, difficulty reclining, tenderness. Get checked.

Heart burn: Persistent heart burn may be from ulcer or bad irritation in the stomach, you did not mention about any medication you tried either, you may need to see a doctor for treatment of ulcer or any other intra abdominal pathology like gall bladder, pancreas problems
