Muscle spasms: spasms can pinch on the tiny nerves that go to the skin. Areas of stress like upper back can feel that way. The answer is stretching, massage or physical therapy....if its getting worse get a quick check at the doctors just to make sure that they can feel those areas and confirm or change the plan
