Can you tell me what to expect with someone who has had experience with skyla iud or mirena (levonorgestrel)?

Contraception: Both Mirena (levonorgestrel) and syla are very effective forms of birth control. The insertion takes 5-10 min, and you may have some cramping the first couple days. Then menstrual bleeding will likely decrease over the next few months, with some women no longer having periods. The removal only takes a couple mins, and again only has some crmaping. It is a great birth control, and you should talk to your doctor.
