Continue workup: Teen cancers don't announce themselves in this way without either very abnormal blood work, very abnormal neuro stuff, or a mass. You're checking your testes, right? It's common for teens to lose weight from mono, from a new sport, or even from illness -- a check for malabsorption / sprue may be in order if you're really wasted or obviously sick.

How old are you?: Are you 16 or 51?? My concern for cancer would be somewhat different depending on that. I would suggest you continue the work up your doctor initiated. If you have concerns about that, you certainly have the option of a second opinion. Best to you.
