See a doctor: PID is a severe infection of the pelvic female organs that can lead to infertility and death if left untreated. Doctors will perform a pelvic examination and treat you accordingly. It is not likely that you would appear bloated or 6 months pregnant as a result of PID. Your doctor can help you determine your pregnancy status, the presence of an infection or the need for other medical intervention.

Not usually: PID is an infection in your pelvic organs and typically caused by either vaginal bacteria or STDs. Antibiotics typically treat PID sufficiently. PID can cause symptoms such as abnormal vaginal discharge, fever, pelvic pain, or irregular bleeding.
