If your recent MRI: showed no change in your hydrocephalus, I assume he's trying to figure out if you're having fluctuating changes in intracranial pressure for some reason. I haven't heard anyone describe a " vibration." Is it localized to the area around your shunt? Ask your neurosurgeon why he wants you to keep a pain journal, since we don't know your brain architecture. I hope this gets sorted out for you soon.
