Yes: It still could be. The CRP is a screening tool. So talk to your doctor about the correct treatment

Yes: C-reactive protein is a non specific test and is often elevated because of inflammation or infection. If your doctor feels it is the right test, an endoscope or a direct look at your stomach may help to answer your question.
