Doubtful: Norethindrone is a progesterone-only oral contraceptive pill, also called a "mini-pill." There are some reasons your doctor might prescribe this for you instead of a combination pill, however, the "mini-pill" is slightly less effective than the combination pill at preventing pregnancy. HCG = 0, so not pregnant now, but add condom and never miss pill if preventing pregnancy is very important.
