Too many questions!: HPV and HIV are both viruses transmitted sexually but not similar at all. HPV does not produce symptoms except for genital warts and may lead to cervical cancer. Can test females with a cervical swab but there is no test for males and no test or indication to test for oral HPV infection. HPV does not cause death in males.

Not the same.: HPV is Human papillomavirus, and HIV is Human immunodeficiency virus. The HPV test is available only to women; no HPV test yet exists to detect the virus in men. However, men can be infected with HPV and pass the virus along to their sex partners by vaginal, anal or oral sex. One type of HPV can cause genital warts while another type can cause cancer.
