Symptoms varies: Symptoms for HIV infection varies. Some individual get symptoms like fever, rash, body ache or swelling of lymph nodes during acute infection usually in 2-4 weeks after infection. Others can acquire HIV infection without any symptoms and symptoms will appear later and may take 5-10 years or more. Rarely can remain asymptomatic for long time and known as long term non progressor.
