Unlikely: If your hysterectomy was in May, it is unlikely that your recent diarrheal symptoms are due to C.Diff. However, stool sample may be checked for C.Diff toxin

Always possible ?: If you had antibiotics around the time of the hysterectomy, then yes C. Diff is possible but one would think that you would have had diarrhea closer to the time of hysterectomy which is now 3 months ago. Of course IBS can have associated diarrhea. You need to see you doctor to have all these possibilities checked.
