If you have cerebral palsy should your doctor prescribe percocet for pain?

Pain and CP: In cerebral palsy, many people may have pain due to muscle stiffness or orthopedic complications. Percocet is a short-acting, temporary pain reliever for conditions such as trauma, injury, and post-operative pain. Depending on the cause of your pain, and the duration, many other treatments may be more effective. For example, baclofen, amitriptyline, or naproxen might be better. Good luck!

Cerebral Palsy: People with Cerebral Palsy have usually had a single incident (usually hypoxia/lack of O2) at or prior to the birthing process. Your physiology, other than whatever brain damage/nerve damage was done at the time of the insult, is completely normal compared to everyone else's physiology. So, there should be nothing wrong with taking Narcotic pain medication unless your lungs are somehow affected
