Close monitoring: It's still within that first 6 months so he needs to be monitored very closely. His immune system should be getting back close to normal, but it's likely not quite there yet. If any fever, cough, unusual rash, shortness of breath, swelling, needs to be seen that same day - whether at his doctor's office or in the ER. Keep him well hydrated and don't overdo over-the-counter meds for cod symptoms.
