The criteria for : ADHD require that significant symptoms of Inattention &/or Hyperactivity/Impulsivity began before age 10, have lasted 6 months or > & cause harmful dysfunction in 2 settings, home & school or home & work. See your PCP to rule out medical conditions. If none, seek referral to mental health providers to determine if you have ADHD, an anxiety disorder or other cause of your distressing symptoms.
