Meningitis : Unlikely meningitis. Meningitis is usually viral or bacterial. Sensitivity to light, fever, chills, severe headache, and neck stiffness are classic signs. A lumbar puncture and analysis of the cerebrospinal fluid will help make the diagnosis. Your primary medical doctor may refer you to a neurologist or neurosurgeon for evaluation if the sinusitis does not resolve with treatment.
