Risk for hepatitis: I would avoid shellfish in general. Have liver functions rechecked.

Limit protein: Crawfish shrimp crabs crustaceans are sources of protein. For stable liver disease, 0.8g/kg/day of protein is recommended. For unstable liver disease or decompensated cirrhosis, this amount needs to be decreased by 10-15% to prevent episodes of encephalopathy. Plant protein is preferable to animal protein in liver failure patients.
