Why would 1.3cm "possible hemangioma" be labeled indeterminate on ultrasound result? why couldn't they diagnose lesion on ultrasound?

MRI or CT: The ultrasound doesn't always distinguish if it's vascular or not. A CT or MRI with contrast would confirm it.

Its a general test: Ultrasound is nonspecific for certain findings especially your spleen. They can only tell so much from this test. The radiologists who reads your ultrasound may need additional tests, CT, MRI to have a better visual on that finding. Good luck
