Possibly: Hemangiomas are benign non threatening growths. If there is concern about cancer repeat ultrasound/CT scan or MRI might be of benefit. Your doctor can guide you on when and which test would be best. Good luck.

Unlikely: The majority of lesions in the spleen are benign, especially in low risk young patients. Rarely, there may be some non benign processes in the spleen. It may depend on what it looked like on us and other lab work that your dr may have done. Follow up with your md to see if this needs fu but more than likely nothing to worry about.
