Are over-the-counter potassium supplements safe?

Why?: If you have low potassium there needs to be an evaluation and cause? Taking diuretics? Renal issues? Etc! In moderation, and in normal persons potassium should be excreted if not needed. In excess and with some problems it could be quite dangerous
