Need an exam: You really need a pelvic exam to assess whether the cervix is now open or closed.There are different kinds of stages of abortion and the position/opening of the cervix can determine what stage you are in.The only way really know this is to have your doctor look at see if the cervix is open or closed.If you are no longer bleeding it's likely you've had a complete abortion,but exam will prove it.
