Threatened miscarria: A threatened miscarriage means that you are pregnant and bleeding but have not miscarried. Unfortunately this is common. Most will be fine but some will miscarry. The outcome is out of you and your doctors hands and only time will tell. I hope for a good outcome for you. Good luck.

1st trimester bleed: 50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage but the fact that your cervix is closed is really good. Ob doctors call all early 1st trimester bleeding threatened miscarriage. You probably need an ultrasound if you have not had one already to ensure the pregnancy is actually in the uterus. Tubal pregnancies can also look like threatened miscarriages. Hope you do well!

Threatened ab: Bleeding in an otherwise normal pregnancy is called a threatened miscarriage. An ultrasound can help check for ectopic or abnormal pregnancy such as blighted ovum. If the ultrasound indicates a normal looking embryo then you have a good chance of continuing a normal pregnancy even though you had the bleeding.
