Tinnitus and stiff muscles 16 months after 6 week taper from a benzo?

Clarification please: Are you asking if 16 months after tapering off benzos you would develop these symptoms, the answer is no. If you are asking if these symptoms which started while tapering are still not gone 16 months later, if that is side effect, likely not the stiff muscles but the tinnitus may be related to it. The muscle stiffness may not have been noticed as much when on benzo as they are muscle relaxants.

Them benzos.....: Yeah, sixteen months--but what was the reason for taking them in the first place? Whatever that was may have come back??? They are great muscle relaxants (among other things, I assume you know...). The tinnitus? Not sure, unless part of a nervous condition, but whatever the case you should be examined in person to see what may be going on. I'm glad you de-tox'd. Them benzos is mean stuff!
