Any suggestions on which benzodiazepines have the best muscle relaxant properties?

They all do: Although diazepam (valium) probably has the most. However, benzos are not good choices for chronic use to relax muscles because they produce physical dependency, which means that the dose required to fix the problem gradually escalates up and up, and the results go down and down. For occasional use, they are fine, but require prescription.

MEDICATION: If this is due to an injury consult with your Orthopedic Surgeon about how to treat the problem with medication and physical therapy as well as adjunctive therapies.
