A member asked:

Had transvag ultrasound. says endometrial stripe is 3mm. is this normal? is this bad? i have no idea what this means or what the stripe should be

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info...: If you are menopausal, anything under 4 mm is considered normal. If you are having menstrual cycles, then the endometrial stripe varies depending on where you are on your cycle. Your endometrium builds throughout your cycle, then during your period 2/3 of it sloughs off. See your gynecologist for more information and diagnosis.
