Weeks to work: Everyone responds differently. It also depends what is been treated, Bipolar Depression, Mania, Schizophrenia? They have different respond time and different levels of improvement. Ask your health professional. In some people it can cause restlessness or insomnia. Check w your Doctor as he could tell, sometimes you will get use to it (tolerance), or take it at different time, or adjust dose.

Latuda (lurasidone): May take 3 to 4 weeks at an appropriate dose for you to see effects and possible 2 to 3 months to see full effects. It often helps with sleep. REF: https://www.nami.org/Learn-More/Treatment/Mental-Health-Medications/Lurasidone
