I got needlestick injury and tested after 6 months for hiv 1/2 quali and result is negative. should i re-test again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needlestick risk HIV: No, you don't need to be tested again. Conversion to HIV + will occur within 3 months, in almost all people. The CDC recommends a test be done at 6 months and if negative, the infection has not been transmitted. You can relax now.
